Association Calls for Dignified and Respectful Transition for Dallas City Manager
On Tuesday, June 14, the Dallas BA sent the memo linked here to the Mayor and Dallas City Council stating the reasons why a transition is needed at the city manager position. The letter states that the city manager’s sustained inattention to the severity of the permitting problem, lack of empathy for those affected and failure to consider, let alone implement, reasonable solutions have led the Association to the conclusion that Dallas needs a respectful yet decisive transition at that position in order to move forward.
