City of Dallas Launches Permit Dashboard

The City of Dallas has launched a publicly accessible Permit Dashboard for new single-family construction projects. The dashboard aims to provide information to Dallas residents on the permit process, offer transparency regarding permit metrics, and provide an online tool to view permit data.

The dashboard shows metrics for:

  • Permits created and issued.
  • Median days to issue a permit.
  • Permits in queue.
  • Other permit related information.

The dashboard launched on January 27. A team from Dallas BA was afforded a preview and offered preliminary feedback prior to the platform’s launch.
