Denton Revises Discussion Schedule for Roadway Impact Fees
The City of Denton recently delayed the start of its public discussion on Roadway Impact Fee updates. The municipality had wanted to begin presentations on Oct. 12 but pushed the start back to ensure all information is available.
Denton began its presentations on Oct. 26 with a report to the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee (CIAC), followed by a Developer Town Hall on Oct. 27. The 2022 Roadway Impact Fee Study is currently expected to be presented to City Council on Nov. 15, with a presentation to the CIAC in mid-November as well. Denton is targeting Jan. 10, 2023 for a City Council Public Hearing. However, this schedule can change.
As it did when roadway impact fees were introduced in Denton, Dallas BA will monitor this process and voice our industry’s concerns as needed. We will provide updates as they become available.
