Mike Phillips with ProSource Wholesale, Inc is the Dallas BA Retention Rockstar for July 2020!

Mike has been a member of the Dallas BA going on 10 years next month, and he has been in the construction industry for over five decades. He has been with ProSource Wholesale Inc. for over 25 years. ProSource Wholesale has more than 100 showrooms in North America and is the largest wholesale supplier of floor covering to professionals worldwide. ProSource excels at delivering personalized service through their dedicated account managers and their in-house design experts. They’re committed to the success of their trade-pro members and simplifying the process for homeowners. Mike is an active member, and he has been a vital cog in the Membership Committee for over 8 years. He was elected as an Honored Life Director in 2018, and he also serves on the HOMEPAC of Greater Dallas Committee. He has also been a member of the Metro North Division board. Mike has contributed as a member of the golf committee at the Association, too.

Mike is involved with the Dallas Builders Association because he believes “the Association provide important services to the local home building industry and the community.” He holds CGA and GSP certifications through the education classes he has taken with the Dallas BA in collaboration with NAHB. “My CGA designation means a lot to me because I believe the builders and remodelers appreciate anyone who shows an interest to better understand the home building business,” said Mike. He also holds a strong conviction that what the Association does through Operation FINALLY HOME with the local community is a great example to follow. Operation FINALLY HOME works with their partners in the residential construction industry to provide mortgage-free homes for combat wounded veterans.

When it comes to retaining members, Mike constantly stays on top of the task at hand. He is excellent with his communications to fellow members, and he has gained 194.50 Spike credits for his efforts. He always makes sure to keep Association staff in the loop to help keep things moving along with membership renewals, too.

During the COVID19 pandemic, Mike suggests that members “keep their heads up, keep plugging forward and help those that you can while following CDC guidelines.” Mike has and will continue to do a wonderful job for the Association and the members he works with to benefit the housing industry.
