My name is Marcus Cummings. I am currently employed with Drees Custom Homes. During my 22-year tenure with Drees, I have held positions of Builder Trainee, Builder, Area Construction Manager, and soon to be Area Sales Manager. I enjoy all aspects of the homebuilding industry. I take great pride in working for the Drees organization to help create dreams for our customers. I currently reside in Lucas, TX, with my wife and daughter. Kelly Hoodwin, CMP, is a home building industry veteran with more than 25 years of sales, marketing and business development experience. Currently she is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Altura Homes. Included in her past work experience are new home sales, title company closer for various builder accounts, and closing department manager for a local real estate law firm.

As a long-standing member of the Dallas BA, Kelly has had various roles within the organization including SMC Chair and Vice Chair, McSam Chair, Casino Christmas Chair, Top Gun recipient, McSam Recipient and finalist multiple times, Star Award finalist and has served on the Board of Directors for 5+ years. She has also served in the past as state representative for the Association of Professional Mortgage Women and is currently a member of MetroTex Association of Realtors and the National Association of Professional Women.

Kelly is very proud to be a native Texan and 4t​h generation Dallasite. When not working, her life is centered around her son whom she is extremely proud of and brags quite often about his many accomplishments. Oh, and those would be: Eagle Scout, serving on Congressman Sam Johnson’s Congressional Youth Advisory Council for 2 years, chosen to attend Boys State this past summer, starting varsity football player at Plano West High School, achieved multiple years of making All Region Choir and National Honor Society. In her limited down time, she does volunteer work at the school and also enjoys baking and doing “crafty” projects.

I graduated from Baylor University in 2001 with a business degree majoring Management and Entrepreneurship. My dad owns a local plumbing business so from the age of 12 my time out of school involved learning the plumbing trade. I received my journeyman’s plumbing license in 1998 and my master’s in 2009. Out of college I went to work for Drees Custom Homes as a builder trainee and since then I have held multiple positions including warranty rep, builder, market manager trainee, market manager and my current role of sales manager.

I have been married to my wife Marci for 14 years and we enjoy raising 3 wonderful boys ages 10, 8 and 3. We are active at our church where we have served in many different capacities from Sunday school teacher (adults and children) to deacon. I enjoy being in the outdoors but my favorite activity by far is hunting.

Celena Medlin is the General Manager of Elite Remodeling, a full-service residential remodeling company in Frisco, TX, focused on helping their customers navigate the remodeling process to fill a functional need and/or provide the expertise to fulfill a dream kitchen or bathroom.

As a previous business owner and also as an independent contractor, Celena has provided accounting, business process development, and administrative services for over 22 years for a wide range of entities including a residential cleaning service, a trucking company, a working cattle ranch, an IT recruiting firm, a business consulting company, multiple individuals’ personal financials, and most notably, a non-profit organization for special needs adults. That is, until she began working for Elite Remodeling starting with only two hours per week almost 10 years ago. Since that time, her relationship with Elite has developed into full time position consisting of multiple key roles within the company. She now focuses all of her professional efforts and attention into Elite, as well as continuing her growth in the construction industry by participating in various Dallas BA education classes and earning her CAPs designation.

Celena has been married for 21 years to her husband, Shane. Together they are raising four spectacular kids (except for the ones that are currently teenagers; they are only partially spectacular at the moment!). Celena spends most of her time away from work, centered on activities with her family; whether that is watching her kids play sports or participating in school activities, taking family trips to the beach and camping, or finding a creative outlet for her artistic side through various projects and painting.

Kelli Parker, CKD, CBD, has been in the DFW metroplex for just over nine years, relocating here from the St. Louis area. She has been involved in residential remodeling since 1989. Kelli became part of the Elite Remodeling team in 2010; from past experiences of being a part of a small remodeling firm, she fit right in. Her duties include many — highlighted by client interaction, design and sales. Through her desire to grow professionally, Kelli earned her Certified Kitchen Designer designation in 2000 followed by her Certified Bath Designer appellation shortly after, both through the NKBA.

Involvement in the industry is very important to Kelli and she has served many years on the board of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), holding different positions including president, treasurer, and programs. Kelli has also served the NKBA on the national level on the board of directors and currently on the generative council.

Along with the happiness that works brings, she also enjoys time spent with her husband, Duane and her two children, Alec (9) and Emerson (7), keeping busy traveling and following the activitiesofherkids. She gets her alone time by running, and will do one or two half marathons a year.

Kevin Webb, a third generation home builder, has been an active participant in this industry since 1991. He has been involved in every aspect of the home building process throughout his tenure. Kevin, currently, is in charge of land acquisitions and development for Altura Homes, a multi market home builder based out of DFW. His true passion lies in the design of the home, holding the aesthetics and functionality equally important.

Kevin was born and raised in North Dallas. He graduated from Berkner High School in 1996 and was then off to Texas Tech University. While at Tech, Kevin was a founding member of his fraternity, Pi Kappa Phi, and also held their highest honor of Archon. He graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Management Information Systems.

He currently resides in Rockwall, TX, with his wife of 11 years and their three children, ages 8, 5, and 4. He enjoys his family time the most but every now and then he enjoys a good hunting trip or playing soccer.
