Major Eric King Project
Thanks to Operation Finally Home, the City of Irving, Winston Custom Homes, Dallas BA Members and NEC Corporation, Major Eric King and his family have a new home to call their own in Irving. U.S. Army Major Eric K. King served his country for almost 13 years on active duty, including three combat tours – two to Iraq and one to Afghanistan. King suffers with PTSD, TBI and a seizure disorder that are all constant reminders of his combat experiences. His combat injuries include a spine injury with accompanying nerve damage to both legs. King received many commendations, including the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, two Bronze Star Medals and many more. King medically retired in 2016. He and his three children received the keys to their custom-built, mortgage-free home in Irving in March, 2019. This was the Dallas BA’s seventh Operation Finally Home project.
