September is National Associate Member Appreciation Month!. This month builder members recognize their partners, friends, and colleagues that make up a tremendous part of the Dallas Builders Association membership. Thanks to the efforts of suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, and tradespeople, the Dallas Builders Association is growing. Amidst all of the challenges the months behind us and in front of us have presented, the housing industry in Dallas is strong.
Builders, land developers, and remodelers alike both appreciate the value of the associate members they partner with and why it is so important for them to be part of the Dallas BA. Members like incoming Dallas BA President Andrew Pieper with Hillwood Communities believe that builders and associates “are better off together and behind the same shield.” 2020 Shorty Howard Award honoree, Donnie Evans (Altura Homes), emphasizes that “we wouldn’t be where we are today without our associate members. Anytime I ask for their support they give it.”
Associate members recognize the vital importance of membership in the Dallas BA and support their builder and developer partners in multiple facets. “The insight and expertise of our associates is helping builders transcend today’s supply chain challenges,” said Dallas BA Executive Officer Phil Crone. “Their individual ability to elevate our entire industry has never been more important.”
