Susie Moore is the Dallas BA Retention Rockstar for December 2020!
Susie Moore with Centricity joined the Association in March 2020 and became a part of the Membership Committee shortly thereafter. When asked about getting involved so quickly, Susie said “the membership committee made sense to me to get involved with to start building my relationships in the Dallas BA. I’ve really enjoyed it!”
Susie has been in the warranty business for 30 years, and has a true passion for helping small business owners achieve their goals. She worked for Radio Shack in their warranty department before transitioning to the housing industry. When the opportunity arose to work with home builders on the warranty side she believed it would be a good fit.
The COVID19 pandemic has made 2020 a unique year in a multitude of ways. Susie says she received some good advice from long tenured Dallas BA members. “That included building relationships the right way,” she said. “Getting to know someone on a personal level first and let the business relationship come naturally from that.”
Susie gets to develop these relationships through the Dallas BA’s Membership Committee each month when she follows up with members coming up for renewal. She is a valued member of the group.
What has Susie done to retain members? She explains that “Breaking it down and getting to their level makes it easy to relate to people. I encourage people to keep their membership and explain what the BA has done to keep homebuilding essential during this pandemic. I always enjoy the Phil’s Phive video update, and I try to incorporate a tidbit from that into my retention conversation.”
Thank you very much to Susie for her great work in 2020. She’s earned the Retention Rockstar distinction this month.
