Dallas BA and Operation FINALLY HOME Surprise Dumas Family with Mortgage-Free Home
Army Specialist Daniel Dumas, his wife Melissa and four-year old son Luke received the surprise of a lifetime on Saturday. As the family drove in to Union Park, a master planned community in Little Elm, they were met by a police escort and learned their dreams of receiving a mortgage-free home from Operation FINALLY HOME were coming to fruition.
The Dallas BA’s sixth Operation FINALLY HOME project would not be possible without the generosity of Hillwood Communities who provided the lot and Plantation Homes who has stepped up as builder captain. Dozens of the family’s future neighbors joined Congressman Michael Burgess and Little Elm Mayor David Hillock to welcome the family to the community. The event culminated with a ceremonial groundbreaking before the family was taken to the site of their new home.
